Matthew B. Wiener, PharmD
Founder / Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Matthew Wiener is in his twentieth year as the Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Pharmatech Oncology. Dr. Wiener is a clinical research pharmacist and has served on the faculties of Columbia College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and National Jewish Center for Immunology and Respiratory Medicine, and also held the directorship of a private practice research center.

In the capacity of COO, he has diverse experience in the design and supervision of clinical research studies. Dr. Wiener has over 20 years of clinical research experience, and his novel recruitment and clinical trials management strategies make him a leader in his field.

Anders Malm
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Anders Malm is a native of Sweden and has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Pharmatech Oncology, Inc. for over three years. Malm spent many years in Europe working for various international companies in the roles of President and CEO.

Anders Malm’s career experience spans from the life sciences industry to clinical research. Malm strives to bring Pharmatech Oncology to operational excellence in his role as CEO.

Jiin Leaw, MD
Medical Director

Dr. Jiin Leaw is an accomplished international researcher where her research experience spans from Taiwan, China and to the United States. Her background encompasses hands-on cancer-related patient care, as well managing complex cancer clinical trials for industry sponsors. She has managed research projects at international hospitals and at a Contract Research Organization where she leads protocol development, feasibility assessments, manuscript and abstract preparations and safety reporting analysis.

Dr. Leaw received her Doctorate from Kaohsiung Medical University in Taiwan and conducted her Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the National Cheng Kung University Medical Center.

Eric Lynam
Vice President, Business Development

With over eighteen years of experience in cancer-related industries, Eric Lynam serves as the VP of Business Development. His responsibilities include the development of new research opportunities, pre-study feasibility analysis, protocol development and project contracting.

As the point person for new business, he identifies and brings innovative research opportunities to the Pharmatech Oncology Network.

Misoo C. Ellison, PhD
Biostatistician

Dr. Ellison is a faculty member at the Colorado School of Public Health her alma mater and has been working as a Biostatistician since 1995. She has served and collaborated with numerous medical investigators in various disciplines from basic sciences to clinical trials as a colleague and a statistical consultant. She used her skills in the international context to assist researchers in Germany, Norway, Korea, and The United States.

Her responsibilities included but were not limited to participating in the writing of grants including the design of studies, sample size/power estimations, and statistical analysis plans, developing statistical models to analyze data, analyzing data for interim study reports, manuscripts, abstracts, and grants, and serving professional committees such as IRB's. She has also been serving as a statistical reviewer in several scientific journals.
