We assist lymphoma patients in identifying study opportunities.
We believe every patient should have the option to participate in the study that is best suited for their medical needs and should NOT be limited based on geographic reach.
When a patient or caregiver contacts us, we will either identify a conveniently located cancer treatment center, request the patient's current physician to open the particular study, or will locate a cancer treatment center and open the site to permit the patient to enroll in the study.
Below is a list of current Lymphoma studies that are available in our network. Our lymphoma studies offerings change frequently and we recommend registering with us to keep you informed about study opportunities.
- Lymphoma, Follicular or Mantle Cell Non-Hodgkins
Lymphoma, Follicular or Mantle Cell Non-Hodgkins
Title: Phase I/II dose escalation study of the Pan-Histone Deacetylase Inhibitor PCI-24781 in Lymphoma
Overview: The first part of the study will determine the highest dose of study drug that can be taken without causing serious side effects in patients with lymphoma. The appropriate dose determined from the first part of the study will be used in the second part of the study to assess disease response in lymphoma patients. Study offers monotherapy every other week to follicular or mantle cell lymphoma patients as second-line treatment for up to 12 cycles or until disease relapse.
Study Value: PCI-24781 is well-tolerated including complete absence of prolonged QTc or other cardiac abnormalities.
- Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma
Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma
Title: PIX-R TRIAL for patients with DLBCL
Overview: The PIX-R TRIAL is a randomized multicenter study comparing pixantrone + rituximab with gemcitabine + rituximab in patients with Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma (DLBCL) who have relapsed after therapy with CHOP-R or an equivalent regimen and are ineligible for stem cell transplant. Now enrolling.
Study Value: Low toxicity option for patients relapsing from 1-3 lines of prior therapy and are ineligible for SCT; Pixantrone has shown promising results for efficacy in DLBCL (progression-free survival); no SOC exists for relapsed patients, clinical trial recommended by NCCN guidelines for this population.
